Alliance University is a Private University established in Karnataka State by Act No.34 of the year 2010 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. Alliance University, along with Azim Premji University, was one of the first private universities in the state of Karnataka and was founded under state law. The sponsoring body of the university is Alliance Business School Pvt. Ltd, owned by the Angur family, and Chancellor of the university was Madhukar Angur until 2016 Alliance University is a renowned higher learning university situated on a large, state-of-the-art campus in Bengaluru offering a variety of degree courses.
